79 Barkly Highway Queensland to Northern Territory

Our trip from Mount Isa across the Barkly Highway to the Devils Marbles was a really good run with about 100ks of open flat grassland around the border.
Then going into lightly wooded scrub land, very similar to Western Australia country around Morawa, Mullewa, Yalgoo station country. Very dry on the Queensland side with very little stock or wild life to be seen.

Big Fan fair here its the border.....

 Night camp
 Relaxing after a days driving.

In the territory heading south on Stuart Highway it appears a lot greener lovely Red dirt all around.

At Tennant Creek we called into the old Telegraph station found it very interesting.

These buildings are really well looked after we are so impressed obviously the community likes to take care of their old items of interest.
