83 Down the road to Coober Pedy

We travelled through a range of country, open plains, hilly range breakaways and densely wooded low scrub. Very much like the station country in WA around Mullewa, Morawa, Yalgoo, and Meekatharra.

All looking very good as rain has fallen 4 odd months ago.

We camped at Agnes creek camp ground for the night; we had a good laugh here as Tim put 2 small packs of sausages out in his microwave to defrost when we got there. (His microwave being on top of the spare tyre on the back of the Toyota.) Upon hearing a strange noise later on he went to investigate only to discover a much starved Jim Crow had nicked off with one bag. A little later he found the bag empty of course then later again there was Jim sitting on a rise just near the van having his dinner of sausages. At least we know where they went and he seemed to really enjoy them.

Leaving the next morning it was beautiful sunshine but really cold so the heater warmed us for quite a few KS down the road.
