Decided
today as it was a lovely sunny day with a slight breeze and an odd cloud
visible that Alligator Creek was the place to visit on Mount Elliot.
Bush turkey wandering the camp ground
Dragon fruit plants
After
turning off the Bruce highway we went through the settlement which is mostly
small blocks or hobby farms about 5 acres or so.

A native plum, hehe Sue bit into it and you should have seen her face was a real picture it was so sour.... Tony then piped up and said don`t bite its not ripe... Big help that was!
Following
the creek to the National park which is set out very well for campers and day
visitors, there were bush turkeys wandering around also small bird life
flitting through the trees.
After
parking the car we wandered along the trail at the side of the creek for about
2ks.
Saw fish, Turtles and a big eel the water was
so clear we could see through to the bottom, as it cascaded over the rocks into
a big pool.
