Berrys Springs

We had a good trip up from Katherine not a lot of change in the trees and country side, though the termite mounds are getting bigger.

At Tumbling Waters Caravan Park they have a big fenced pool which has Fresh water Crocodiles in it, during the afternoons they come out of the water to sleep on the bank so they are easy to photograph.

The park has lots and lots of palms bordering all the sites with grass under foot.

Have a restaurant and outdoor movie nights with a small market on Sunday mornings. New ensuite ablutions as we were in the new area of the park
A lovely spot to stay though we thought it was very pricey at $38.00 a night.
While we wait for the generator part to come  we went out to Mandorah / Wagait Beach for a look.
There is some beautiful rocks on the beach which we both really liked the look of, lots of little rock pools with small fish and hermit crabs.
We kept our eyes open for crocs while here as there are signs everywhere about them.

Beautiful flower right on the beach

Also went and checked out where the ferry docks which crosses between Darwin and Mandorah saving a road trip of approx 150
km.

Ferry dock with Darwin in the back ground
