57 Hull heads and Tully Head

From Tully we did a day trip out to Hull Heads and Tully Heads through the cane fields that were all in flower, some patches had already been harvested.

Church in the middle of the cane fields.

Someone had caught some fish. Not us.

Hull Heads river mouth was the prettier of the two places

A big float outside the coast guard building.

At the beach we found very dirty water and brown beach sand also lots of debris from the cyclones, not at all like we had envisioned it to be. Especially not like the TV doco`s that we have seen on Queensland beaches and coast line.

This is a cactus completely covering a tree.

The countryside looks very good and where the rivers and creeks are the tropical growth is fantastic, palms, tall trees of many varieties, creepers and like a jungle.
