71 Millstream Falls Big and Little – Tully Gorge

There are some beautiful waterfalls that we have been privileged to see while being here.

Most involve a walk in some description or the other to get to them; at the moment my hips are letting me know that I have done quite a bit of walking to see these sights.

There are two falls in this area called Big Millstream and Little Millstream; both are beautiful on their own as you will see.

Big Millstream was worth the walk to the bottom of the hill along a bitumen pathway to see would be magnificent after a lot of rain.

Rest time……. for Tim.

Little Millstream

Little Millstream this pathway was all dirt and took some concentration to make sure one did not fall over on the loose stones. A bit more involved to be able to see the falls properly but were also really beautiful.

 Tully Gorge

Tully Gorge we were lead to believe that there were falls here as well but could not find them. The Gorge itself is magnificent and we were very impressed with what we could see.

This is where the falls are suppose to be.....

There is a walk to the bottom of the gorge we only went a short way then turned back.
This delightful little stream was along the way.
Found a friend who is a bit cold did not move while we were there.

Meet up with some people from Brunswick Junction in WA so that was a lovely surprise they were traveling with just a tent this time and had come over through the Great Central Road  which they were quite impressed with apart from the corrugations.

We had Misty rain for about a week made for lovely scenery.
