26th – 27th rain tonight, light and gentle pretty well all night.
Still raining lightly this morning when we set out, it got
heavier as we went along.
Stopped in Bingara to check the information centre, craft
shop buy milk and Vegemite.
Found shop called “Upcycle” full of old crockery and bits
Kathy found a Blue & White vase which she just had to have….. Now have to
pack it somewhere in the van to get it home. At the craft shop found a leather
fly swatter which we need as there are lots of flies in some places.
Continued on our way still raining arriving at the next camp
spot got set up then Tony & Tim collected rain water running off the vans
& awnings, they hoped for clean but it was too dirty so used it instead to
wash the van clean off bugs.
Then spent the time sorting out our next few stops to
sightsee and where to camp.
Warialda is next to visit.
