1 Queensland on our way

I have gone back to the beginning of our trip in April so it works in order for all to see. Hopefully it wont take me long to get it all back up  ready for viewing and I don`t make to many mistakes with the numbers. Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Thursday left Bunbury a day early had a good trip to Nanerup.

Oh the peace and quiet was delightful.
Tony and Sue have done heaps of work since our last visit everything looks wonderful.

Decided that Saturday was the day we would leave instead of waiting for Wednesday.
WOW we have us a convoy  consisting of  “Porta House” which is a home on wheels  belonging to Graham & Desma, They also have a Jeep & boat. Graham drives the “Porta House” Desma the Jeep towing the boat, 2 dogs Diesel and mischief.  Tony & Sue with their Jeep & Caravan & Emma their dog then  our rig Toyota & caravan so all in all 4 vehicles a motor home 2 caravans & a boat.
As we are all heading for the same place travelling together is a great idea.
Saturday we were out the gate by 8am and on the road had a really good run through to Jerramungup for morning tea., then onto Ravensthorpe for lunch.
The countryside looks like there has been rain and is quite fresh looking a few puddles of water still lying around with some green grass showing through as well
A Kangaroo and a couple of Fox`s and a dead pussy which everyone went around but Sue ran over!!!!
The boat will come in handy with all the rain in Queensland from Cyclone “Ita”.

Saturdays night we found a free camp spot at Salmon Gums so had an early night with much needed rest.
Sunday left our camp spot after a relaxing breakfast and the dogs having a morning walk before getting in the cars.
 Diesel
Mischief

An easy trip to Norseman to fuel up and pick up a couple of last minute bits from IGA a beautiful  sunny day with clear blue sky stopped for morning tea and aired our opinions on Global warming finding that we are all in agreement. But I am not going to go into it here.
The trees and scrub still look fresh with the blue bush standing out and looking good.
Although the small dams on the side of the road were full last time we came through they are all bone dry now.
Our convey is travelling well with us in the lead, Desma with the boat following with Sue & Tony & caravan and Graham driving the Porta house keeping us all together….
We enjoyed Happy Hour together after our days travel.

Monday morning awoke to a fog everywhere at 5am a real surprise for us.
Cool enough for a blanket and quilt while sleeping. All up early as a freezer truck had pulled in to sleep and his motor was running which woke us up. A brisk walk around all the tracks through the bush got the blood moving ready for the day. On the road by 7.30am heading for Kathala Pass tanks to free camp for our next night stop. Another good days travel arrived at the tanks to discover they have been fixed since our last visit and now actually have water in them lots of scribbles on the outside of them left by travellers.
A beautiful sunset  then after dark a couple of small rain showers which cleared quite quickly for  the moon to shine brightly.
