31 Virgin Rock

The eastern tipoff the Carnarvan Ranges are beautiful, so glad we all decided to come this way grassy plains look a bit dry but must be enough for cattle.
We free camped just out of Roma for the night at the side of the road in a blue metal dump had a beautiful view of the countryside.

Here on the Staircase Range they have palms not grassboys growing everywhere.
Springsure definitely is a place to visit spectacular rock formations to admire in the Minerva Hills National Park. Virgin rock free camp was our chosen spot for the night is right at the base of the rocks. Unfortunately there were others already parked up and it was right on the road so we decided after photo session to continue along.

The countryside flattened out again and at Grindle there were more maize crops coming into Emerald we camped the night outside the Botanical Gardens right on the highway.
